About Faye
I am a UBC Art History graduate with international research and teaching experience in Canada and abroad. Over the years, I have worked in museums, cultural institutions, and private tutoring, which has given me both academic depth and practical teaching skills. My students describe me as patient, encouraging, and adaptable—I believe every learner has a unique way of understanding knowledge, and I tailor my methods accordingly. Whether preparing for exams, writing essays, or simply exploring culture and mythology for personal growth, I create a safe and inspiring space to learn. I combine professionalism with passion, ensuring that each lesson is structured, engaging, and meaningful. My goal is not only to teach content, but also to help students develop confidence, critical thinking, and curiosity that lasts beyond the classroom.

My lessons combine academic structure with creative exploration. As a UBC Art History graduate with international research and teaching experience, I guide students through art history, mythology, and cultural studies using clear explanations, visual analysis, and discussion-based methods. A typical lesson begins with a short introduction to the theme (art movement, myth, or symbol), followed by visual or textual examples, and ends with exercises in interpretation and critical thinking.
For learners interested in symbolism, I also integrate tarot, runes, and mythological archetypes as tools for exploring meaning. This unique approach helps students connect personal curiosity with academic knowledge. My lessons are tailored to each student’s needs—whether preparing for exams, writing essays, or simply discovering art and mythology in a more vivid way.
