UBC Nutritional sciences student and IB grad teaching Biology/Maths/English for elementary to high school levels

we have two children 7 and 10 and ava is a wonderful teacher to both. she is patient and very receptive and the kids are very excited about piano now, much thanks!

Last year, Ava taught me about the notation and theory in music before she helped me start playing. As an adult beginner, it was nerve-wracking to start learning to play, but Ava was very patient. She created a very relaxing and welcoming environment, and was really helpful in teaching me all the fundamentals. She is a great piano teacher!

I have one child, he's 6 years old and has trouble sitting still, but Ava manages to keep him engaged while still having fun teaching him useful and impressive piano skills! Thank you Ava!
