About Julia
I have a degree in psychology and special education and am currently working on my teaching degree. I received 100% on my grade 12 provincial English exam and a full-ride scholarship to UBC. I have always been the friend proofreading everyone's essays and have worked as an educational assistant for 3 years in K-12.

I have received an A on every essay I've ever submitted and want to help you do the same! I am most experienced in writing in APA style and have a degree in psychology and special education. My approach is very flexible; we meet on zoom and read over the instructions to find exactly what the professor is looking for (this is half the battle) or your working draft. We can discuss the content of your writing, sentence structure, how many words should be dedicated to each section, citations, building a strong argument, and whatever else can help improve your essay. My most recent students had no experience in academic writing (first year psych students) and received 97% and 98% on their essays, which were entirely their ideas with a little guidance from me to polish the presentation.
