About Linda
I've been proofreading essays since my bachelor's degree, I have taught private classes on research skills and academic writing. I have aced both my bachelor's and master's theses and I have approximately seven years' experience tutoring/coaching/training in a mix of settings i.e. academia and corporations. I won't be tutoring you on the information related to your degree or modules, but I will teach you how to structure your essays to make sure all the knowledge you do have is able to be expressed in the most clear and cohesive way in an essay.

I am most familiar with Harvard referencing; however, I am versed in the APA and IHS referencing styles. Typically, I would proofread an assignment prior to a lesson, leaving feedback/comments on the assignment. If the student wanted to meet on a call to discuss feedback, we could do that also. I have a Bachelor's degree in European Studies from UL (1st class honours), a Master's degree in Cooperative and Social Enterprise from UCC and because I achieved a 1st class honours in my Master's thesis, I was hired as a research assistant for a research project on the topic of employment of people exiting the criminal justice system. I have proofread a variety of different kinds of assignments - from science essays to psychology essays. What I am really good at doing is helping students create a coherent argument throughout their essay. In other words, "the golden thread" in which every part of the essay links to the next part and the reader i.e. whoever is correcting the assessment, is able to follow the entire argument being presented in the assignment from start to finish.

Linda was an amazing asset to me as I progressed through my degree. Academic writing has always been a challenge to me but with Linda’s guidance my grades improved.
Linda is super patient and has a wealth of knowledge. I really could not have gotten through my fourth year in college without Linda’s assistance and I am super grateful to her.View more recommendations
