About Mark
Hi my name is Mark, and I'm currently in my final year of medicine, I have achieved 98th percentile in the MCAT, 99th percentile in HPAT, 96th percentile in IMAT and 96th percentile in GAMSAT. I also achieved top grades in Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Math and have taken multiple stage 3/4 college courses for each of these subjects. I'm also able to guide on English particularly on essay structure, poetry, comprehensions and any Shakespearean texts, as well as general learning. I'm also able to provide my own notes, on said subjects - some I may have to create while teaching if it's a topic I have not come across yet. I am a professional tutor and studied effective teaching methods during my psychology course.

I guide students using any resources they have presented me with, and then create high-yield visual study notes with diagrams. I slowly take students through complex key concepts using diagrams and example questions, and then ask them to answer sample questions based off the topic on the exam that they are preparing for. I ask them for their method on how they reached their answer and explain any gaps, or uncertainty - especially if there is a lot of time pressure in said exam. Each lesson is an hour, for effective tutoring I would recommend 2 hours a week, obviously this also depends on how much time left there is to prepare for said exam.
