About Olive
I studied Philosophy and Public Policy at the University of Chicago, and currently work in tech. I want to spend my spare time spreading my love of the French language while honing my teaching skills. My past teaching experiences as a tutor, sailing instructor, and creative writing teacher proved incredibly rewarding. I particularly love the aspects of teaching where I am able to promote a general love of learning and confidence in one's own abilities.

My lessons include vocabulary and grammar lessons, practicing speaking conversational French, improving listening comprehension, and reading/writing exercises. I have taken French classes at high school and college levels and have experience tutoring students of high school and college age. I have French family and have been speaking French since I was 5 years old. I love French language and culture and I am excited to share my expertise to help others grow as French speakers.
