About Sanand
I’m currently studying Economics at UCL and achieved 3 A*s in Maths, Further Maths and Economics at A Level. Alongside my academic work, I was a finalist in the John Locke Essay Competition (with over 30,000 global participants), highlighting my passion for Economics beyond the classroom. I am also an active member of my university’s Economics Society, having previously led it at secondary school, and I run my own Economics blog.
With 3 years of tutoring experience, I understand the challenges students face and how to help them overcome them. I create a supportive, motivating environment where students feel confident to ask questions and improve. My goal is not just to boost grades, but to help students truly understand the subject and feel proud of their progress. My Economics lessons are tailored to each student, focusing on building strong understanding of key concepts alongside exam technique. I break down complex topics into simple, clear steps and use real-world examples to make learning engaging. One of the key focuses in Economics exams is the exam technique used which is what many people struggle with and being a university Economics means that my understanding of Economics exam technique has increased due to my studies at a higher level. Lessons are typically 60 minutes online, ideal for GCSE and A Level students looking to improve confidence, structure answers effectively, and achieve top grades.
