About Nicole
I’m a UCL Chemistry Graduate, now working in Finance. I have a real love for Maths and Chemistry. I have been tutoring for the last 3 years and helping students achieve their academic goals brings me a great sense of satisfaction. In my spare time I enjoy badminton.

So many students come to me and say they ‘hate’ Maths and Chemistry. Nine times out of ten it’s actually because they struggle to get their heads around some of the abstract concepts. My approach is to take these ‘boring’ and difficult principles and relate them to things the student is interested in and does understand.
I believe in a positive approach, rather than focusing solely on what the student can’t do, I like to highlight what the student can do and to use that to build on the areas where the student is finding things harder. There is absolutely zero judgement from me about their current knowledge level and I will always celebrate when they finally nail that one difficult question or topic.
So many students get left behind in classes of 30 at school, dictated to by lesson plans that cater to only some. I fully tailor my lessons to the student’s needs in that moment, taking it as slow or as fast as they need. I have taken GCSE students from 2s to 6s and 7s, and I hope I can help you achieve your dream grades too!

A Level - A* Maths, A Chemistry, A Further Maths (AS), B Psychology
