About Drew
Hello! My name is Drew, I am a recent UCL medical graduate with a huge passion for personal and communication skills development in medicine. For the last 6 years I have worked as a medical interview, UCAT and OSCE coach, and have also provided Personal Statement review services. I truly love the work and have enjoyed watching my students flourish over the years, and achieve their dreams of medical school and beyond! Throughout this time I have been employed as a tutor in both 1:1 and school workshop settings, and have been promoted to senior roles in which I have led workshops and taken on students with complex challenges. I provide a safe environment for students to learn and improve. We all know that the process of getting into medical school and getting through medical school is long and arduous. However, with the right tools, exams can feel like a space to confidently display your skills, and I hope that my expertise can help you get there.

My UCAT, interview and OSCE teaching methods are largely based around chunk-and-check learning, where we learn theory step by step, and then integrate constructive practice to ensure the principles have been absorbed for the long term. There is also the option to book other doctors in my circle who can assist in providing realistic mock panel interviews with me. For personal statement reviews, normally students require 1-3 edits, and they receive a complete breakdown of all comments and recommendations from me. Typical lessons are 1-2 hours, and are for all post-GCSE age groups, mature students are very welcome too.
