About Eleanor
I’m originally from California, where History was always my favourite subject at school. I loved it so much that I went on to study History as an undergraduate before moving to the UK to complete my MA in Renaissance and Medieval Studies at UCL. I’ve always loved teaching and working with children, and I’m passionate about sharing my enthusiasm for History with my students and helping them discover how fascinating the past can be!

My teaching style is warm, encouraging and tailored to each student. I want children to feel safe, comfortable and confident asking questions, making mistakes and trying new things. I focus on building confidence alongside academic skills, celebrating progress and helping students discover that they are capable of more than they think.
