About Harriet

Harriet is educated at University College London (UCL) where she is studying History. She teaches and takes part in LAMDA examinations, she has achieved distinction in Grades 1-8 Verse and Prose, Acting and Musical Theatre examinations, alongside teaching students to take their own LAMDA exams. Harriet has performed at Sadler’s Wells, the O2, Her Majesty’s Theatre and Disneyland Paris. Alongside teaching LAMDA, Harriet has 5-years private tutoring experience in GCSE and A-Level across a range of subjects, including History, Mathematics, Psychology, German and the Sciences. Harriet has set up her own student website to provide free study resources for GCSE and A-Level students. As a former Oxbridge Mentoring student, Harriet has a deep understanding of study frameworks and interview techniques that help students achieve their academic goals. She has a wide range of academic and extra-curricular achievements, including winning an award in the UK Maths Challenge and for her dissertation for The Brilliant Club. Harriet is also the Treasurer of UCL’s History Society and the Social Secretary for the Cheerleading team. These endeavours and her tutoring experience ensures Harriet brings a fun and friendly atmosphere to her tutorials that are uniquely tailored to each student and use critical thinking approaches.

About the lesson

My lessons are geared towards those in KS2 and KS3. My teaching style is very flexible and I will devise a separate lesson plan based on each student according to what they are learning and what they feel they are struggling with. I am also able to provide many resources, such as revision cards and worksheets. I have a 100% success rate at helping students into independent schools and can also assist with UCAS admissions
