About Annabelle
Hi! I’m Annabelle. I currently study Medicine at UCL and am entering my third year to undertake an integrated bachelors (iBsc) in Surgical Sciences. I am a hard-working, organised individual with an interest in education/teaching and a love of science. Outside of my degree, I enjoy cooking, running, cycling, swimming and generally, just trying new things!

My lessons are aimed at secondary school students (11-18 years), including GCSE and A-level preparation.
I utilise a range of different learning techniques such as mindmaps, flashcards, discussions and practice questions - the lesson is personalised to what is most effective for the student. Depending on the school year of the student, I can also provide guidance with exam preparations, creating revision timetables and adapting the lessons as necessary in the lead up to exams.
I am a third-year Medical Student at University College London and have completed my A-Levels in Biology (A*), Chemistry (A*) and Maths (A*). I also scored highly in my GCSEs, achieving grade 9 in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Maths, English Literature and Language, Music and Art.
I find it extremely rewarding and exciting to teach and mentor students, especially in the Sciences. Having grown up with several younger siblings, I have experience working with children of all ages. I believe structure and consistency is key to my own studying, and this is reflected in my teaching style.
Tutoring sessions are flexible and can vary from 1 to 3 hours (those over 1 hour will require a short break). Both in-person and online lessons are available, however in-person would be preferred.

Annabelle is a patient tutor who teaches our 13 year old biology, physics, chemistry and maths. She is able to keep him focussed and structured, which is a great help, and he enjoys the lessons. She has been reliable and friendly. We would definitely recommend Annabelle, especially if you are looking for a tutor with London Day School experience, and who is clearly able to work towards set goals.
