About Joshua
I am a 3rd year medical student at UCL, living in London, looking to take on more students during my summer holidays. I have 3 years of tutoring experience and can be provide references upon request. I have tutored 6 different students over the past 3 years and previous students have achieved A*s in Maths and Chemistry at both GCSE and A level. In addition, I achieved 4A*s at A level in Maths, Chemistry, Biology, and Further Maths and so am very familiar with course content regardless of the exam board.

My lessons aim to improve understanding of the subject and exam technique to maximise the student's potential. Lessons are typically 2 hours but can be 1 hour. My Lessons are aimed at students studying for their GCSEs and A levels in either Maths or Chemistry. My teaching style mainly focuses on the student's understanding as this makes it easier for them to do their own learning outside of lessons. I explain core concepts within the subject and then complete this with guiding the student through practice questions. Lessons are done over zoom as I am able to write on an Ipad and show the student my working on their screen - this method of teaching has proven to be very effective with previous students.
