About Christina
I am a medical student at UCL and studied Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Classical Greek at A Level. I have been tutoring for the past 4 years as both a freelance tutor and as part of a company.
Having experienced the intensely competitive university application process for medical school, I have developed study methods and resources which enabled my students to revise in as efficient a way as possible.
Using these techniques, I was able to achieve a global top 4% score in the BMAT, make the 9% acceptance rate for UCL and also maintain 4A* predicted grades throughout the year.
One of my proudest achievements is that my GCSE students have achieved all 9s in the subjects in which I tutored them.
I have found tutoring to be a wonderful opportunity for not only academic but also personal development, having seen so many students gain confidence and broaden their prospects.

I have been tutoring students of all ages for the last 4 years. My tutoring strategy adapts for each student's learning style, however, it follows a general structure.
An ideal lesson would be distributed in the following way:
1. Identifying the student's gaps through questions
2. Covering the content they don't know well
3. Re-testing them on this content
4. Consolidating information with exam board-specific practice questions
