About Ansar
I hold an MEng in Maths & Computer Science from UCL, and have over 7 years in tutoring experience. I'm passionate about helping students find that lightbulb moment in understanding a complex concept or question in maths as when I was studying for my GCSE and A level exams, I remember how grateful I was to my tutor as he helped unlock the deep understanding of such concepts which was vital to my exam prep! Teaching allows me to share my love for maths, and seeing my students finally understand something they have been struggling with, is the most rewarding feeling of all to me.

I've been teaching maths privately since 2018 and have also been teaching at a tuition centre for the past year. I teach secondary school and sixth form students, adapting lessons to suit individual needs. Sessions typically last for 1-2 hours and focus on building understanding, confidence, and exam success.
