About Olive
I am an integrated master’s student in Theoretical Physics at UCL with a real passion for STEM. During sixth form, I took my learning further by completing a Gold CREST project in astrophysics, using university supercomputer resources to model galaxy formation.
Having recently navigated secondary school exams myself, I know firsthand how a tiny gap in understanding can cost marks, and how frustrating that feels. I loved the subjects I studied at sixth form, and my goal is to pass that enthusiasm on while giving students the confidence and exact strategies they need to reach their full potential.
I am based in Swiss Cottage and happy to travel ~2km from there for lessons.

I tailor every session to the your specific study goals, exam board (Edexcel, AQA, OCR) and learning style. My lessons focus on two core pillars:
Conceptual Clarity: we break down difficult topics into simple, intuitive steps - whether that’s helping you master expanding brackets and basic algebra, or helping an A-Level student grasp multivariable mechanics. I focus on why concepts work so students don’t have to rely purely on memorisation.
Exam Technique & Mark Scheme Precision: Understanding the material is half the battle; knowing how to ‘play the game’ in exams is the rest. We work through real problem sheets and past papers to master mark schemes and eliminate silly mistakes.
Lessons are structured in 60-minute blocks for students aged 11-18 (KS3, GCSE, A-Level, and Further Maths).
