About Mithal

Hello, my name is Mithal and I am studying BSc Economics at UCL. I am interested in Economics because of its mathematical applications to current global events and how it can aid me in understanding the day-to-day financial interactions around me. Having tutored professionally, accumulating over 200 hours, I am confident in my subject knowledge and tutoring techniques. I was among the highest achievers in the UK in both my GCSEs and A levels. This means that I have been through the process and can pass down lots of knowledge to boost confidence. I realise how stressful the build-up to exams can be, but I will be here to provide aid whether it be in structured learning from scratch, filling in gaps in knowledge or refreshing content. My lessons can be set up in many ways depending on my student's needs. However, I often find that explaining the concepts of a subject clearly, following it up with exam question practice, constantly refreshing topics and linking them to each other can be useful in achieving the best grades. Learning within the curriculum well, and only learning that which will be resourceful and rewarding in exams is something I will be eager to do as it has proven successful. I also explain concepts to students at all levels of confidence and interact with them regularly to identify and work on areas of improvement. I look forward to meeting you and hope that we can embark on this journey of high grades and success together!

About the lesson

I plan to deliver personalised and student specific tailored tutoring that focusses on exactly what my students need help with the most. Having done both GCSE and A-level exams before, I have been through the process and know what it is like to be in my student's shoes, hence why I have been able to previously aid in helping my students reach new heights.

My standard lesson structure is to cover content that students may be struggling with and then jump into the practical side of things, i.e exam style questions and exam technique while focussing on topic specific questions and how to score highly in exams. Despite this, my lesson structure can vary to adapt to student needs and I would always be accommodating to change it.

My experience with students and my teaching style has been proven successful by students who have achieved vary high grades. The satisfaction of my lessons cab be reflected in my reviews where I have only received 5 star ratings for my sessions.
