About Charles
Many students get stuck when they cannot bridge the gap between simple chords and professional lead guitar phrasing. You will learn how to master blues progressions and reading tabs while we develop your unique songwriting voice. Throughout my 7 years of experience, I have worked with everyone from absolute beginners and teens to working professionals preparing for grade exams. We build your skills through structured practice that honors your time.
My goal is to make sure you walk away from every meeting feeling like you have gained a new tool for your musical toolkit. We look at the theory behind the music to ensure you understand exactly what you are playing. Whether you are a total beginner or a teen aiming for an exam, I adapt the technical focus to keep you challenged. Your musical goals are the destination we work toward every single time.

Holding a BA from UCLA in Latin American Music Studies has been the highlight of my academic life. My 7 years of experience as a gigging musician informs every concept I explain on the fretboard.
I teach everything from reading tabs to complex lead guitar work. My background covers blues progressions and songwriting for anyone looking to create. I have worked with 338 students who wanted to sharpen their technique.
I provide a free trial session to assess your starting level before we commit. I have spent my life playing and studying the instrument in depth. You will find my teaching style to be as energetic as a live set. I am ready to help you play better.
