I know that struggling with a subject can be frustrating, but I’ve seen firsthand how the right guidance can completely change a student’s perspective. My goal as a tutor is to help students overcome obstacles, build confidence, and develop a deeper understanding of the material. I focus on making learning interactive and tailored to each student’s needs, whether that means breaking down difficult concepts, refining study strategies, or simply providing encouragement along the way. Hi! My name is Guy, and I’m a UCSD graduate with a double major in Clinical Psychology and Neuroscience. I’ve always had a passion for teaching and considered becoming a teacher before deciding on medical school starting in the Fall. With a strong background in STEM and years of experience helping students master complex subjects, I strive to make learning engaging, personalized, and approachable. Whether it’s biology, psychology, neuroscience, chemistry, physics, or math, I focus on building confidence and deep understanding—not just memorization. My goal is to help students feel empowered in their learning and achieve their academic potential. I offer flexible scheduling and can tutor both online and in-person.
