Hello! I am a professional engineer and tutor, with experience in one-on-one tutoring of high school and middle school students, as well as small group SAT preparation classes. Whether you are learning algebra, trigonometry, or calculus for the first time, or brushing up on your skills for college admissions exams, I am passionate about helping you achieve success.
As an engineer, I have worked in various scientific settings, including chemistry labs, field work, laser labs, and computer labs. I am here to help you excel in whatever your chosen path is, so feel free to reach out and tell me about your goals.

My tutoring style is a combination of theoretical and example-based learning with an emphasis on homework help.
Lesson plans are flexible. We might review assignments and concepts from the previous week, introduce a new topic, or go over homework. For younger students, I like to emphasize foundation strengths (like math facts, fractions, etc) with short drills or games at the end of each session.
As a practicing engineer, with an undergraduate degree in physics and minors in mathematics and chemistry, I tutor from a well-rounded scientific perspective.
I am available to tutor students from middle school onward. Particularly, if you are a middle-school or high-school student wanting extra help in areas of math or science, a late high-school student preparing for the SAT/ACTs, or a college student looking for help in introductory calculus/physics/linear algebra/differential equations/programming, I am the tutor for you.
