About Roselyn
Currently, I am a research scientist and lab manager at UCSD Health in the Hematology/Oncology department assisting patients with acute leukemia. While also working, I dedicate a part of my time to helping those with psychological disabilities, such as autism.
In my free time, I love exploring nature, going star-gazing, reading books, knitting, making bead jewelry, and meditating.

My belief in overcoming and excelling in academic obstacles includes fostering an empathetic learning environment for my students.
It would be my priority to learn each student's learning styles, strengths, weaknesses, and enjoyments in other aspects of life aside from school, to help build an effective mentor-student relationship that can empower and motivate the student to develop a growth mindset when it comes to academics.
My lessons cater to middle school, high school, and college-level biology students looking for advanced-level preparation for their next exam or improving their grades in class.
