About Ron

I’ve been tutoring students in a wide range of subjects for most of my life, from algebra to calculus and psychology to genetics. I’ve worked with all kinds of learners from all ages, from middle schoolers to college students. I hold degrees in Computer Science and Neuroscience, a minor in Psychology, and have professional work experience in biochemistry and biotechnology, so I can connect what we’re learning to real-world examples.

I like to keep lessons clear, structured, and tailored to each student’s strengths. I’m patient, approachable, and focused on helping you feel confident and understand concepts instead of some random gibberish nonsense. I myself enjoy learning new things, and you never know who can teach you a thing or two. I like being able to teach to help others understand, and who knows, maybe even you can teach me something new.

About the lesson

As a STEM mentor with degrees in Computer Science and Physiology & Neuroscience, my goal is simple: help you truly understand the material, NOT just memorize it.

My Teaching Approach:

- I use real-life analogies and practical examples so ideas actually make sense.

I teach you how to think, how to approach problems strategically, and how to recognize patterns, skills that improve performance across all STEM subjects.

My dual STEM background in Computer Science and Neuroscience, with a minor in Psychology, helps me understand both complex technical material and how students learn best. My professional work experience in biochemistry and biotechnology allows me to connect concepts to real-world applications.

I use a structured, analytical approach to strengthen problem-solving and improve exam performance, while tailoring each lesson to the individual's strengths. I create a supportive environment where questions are encouraged and my goal is to help confidence grow while building academic independence.
