I believe in first asking the student to explain the problem/ question so that I can see where their gap is and then work to help them understand the pieces they are missing so that they are able to effectively problem solve moving forward. I want students to feel supported and like an equal and leave sessions feeling empowered by their new capabilities.
I graduated UCSD in 2018 with a degree in Physiology and Neuroscience and a minor in Psychology. I am currently applying to law school to pursue a career in Patent and Intellectual Property law. I worked in an gene therapy lab for over three years and have experience with tutoring my peers while in high school and college. I have scored in the 93rd percentile in the LSAT admissions exam for law school and able to tutor that exam as well.
AMAZING! Lindsey is a hardworking, reliable, dedicated, and an intelligent tutor. She is great at breaking down her extensive knowledge into easy terms. She is one of the best tutors I know and anyone would be lucky to have her help them.
