About Max
I am currently studying at UC San Diego, where I play saxophone in the jazz ensemble, wind ensemble, and saxophone quartet. I have been playing consistently in music programs since elementary school. Previously, I taught students to play saxophone in the United Sound program at my high school. I have a lot of fun making music and I want to share that joy with my students.

I will take a patient approach to build confidence in saxophone fundamentals and musicality. A lesson will include warmup exercises, focused technical practice, and beginner repertoire to strengthen reading and execution. I can also help students with the music they are learning in school band programs or music they are interested in learning . As a student at UCSD with over 10 years of experience with the instrument, I can help any beginning saxophonist excel musically.
