I am interested in teaching because throughout my experience as a student, being tutored helped me complete most of my courses in math and engineering high school. As a UCT Engineering graduate who struggled through courses, i am interested in giving back and also helping students get their qualifications

I assess my students based on specific areas of weaknesses. I work best when narrowing the problem and using first principles to make concept easier to digest. I can tutor in English and Shona. A typical lesson includes recap and reflection on the last problem and introducing new concepts piece by piece. I am interested in tutoring struggling grade 12 students and early first year university.
