About Mattia

Mattia is a football coach based in London, dedicated to helping young players aged 5–14 develop their skills, confidence, and love for the game. Mattia creates fun, structured, and age-appropriate sessions in a safe and supportive environment. His player-centred approach ensures that each child progresses at their own pace while enjoying every step of their football journey.

About the lesson

I'm a UEFA C licensed coach, certified in FA Safeguarding and First Aid, DBS checked, with experience coaching children aged 5 to 14+. I also hold a degree in biology, which helps me understand how children grow and learn, physically and mentally. My coaching sessions are Player-centred, focusing on Fun, Development, and Confidence-building. I use a mix of ball mastery, small-sided games, and guided discovery to keep children engaged while helping them improve their technical and tactical understanding. Lessons typically last 60 minutes, I always adapt sessions to suit the player’s age, ability, and goals. My sessions are ideal for young players aged 5–14, whether they’re beginners, looking to build confidence, or want to sharpen their skills in a fun, supportive environment.
