About Amarie
I bring extensive experience in writing IEPs, reviewing them for compliance, and aligning them with state guidelines as well as the unique needs of each student. Just as importantly, I make sure student and family voices are reflected in the process. I want every IEP to represent not only the expectations of staff, but also the hopes and goals of families and students themselves.

When students are given opportunities to demonstrate what they know through visual supports, hands-on activities, technology, or movement, their abilities become visible in meaningful ways. This approach not only builds knowledge and skills but also fosters confidence, independence, and a sense of belonging.
The best way to support students with autism is by providing individualized, receptive, and expressive pathways that allow them to access learning in ways that feel natural and empowering. By meeting each student where they are—whether verbal, semi-verbal, or non-verbal—we can highlight their strengths and use those strengths as springboards for growth.
