About Beatriz

I am a graduate student in Biophysics at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and have been teaching for about two years. I have already taught classes for students at different levels (from elementary to first college). I try to start my classes by reviewing what the student already knows and, in this context, adding new information and solving their doubts. Daughter of two teachers (mother biologist and father mathematician) I believe in a more profound and practical teaching, not "maceteado". Hello! My name is Beatriz and I am 24 years old. I have been working in the laboratory since I was 15 years old and I am currently a Scientific Initiation student at the Neurochemistry Laboratory at IBCCF. I also work as a physics teacher at Carlos Chagas Filho Pre-University Entrance Exam. Because I work in a Pre Vestibular, I have a greater experience with classes aimed at this audience, but I had good experiences giving classes to students of any year of high school. I work in this segment with physics and biology content. My degree in Biophysics allows me to have a broader knowledge of various areas of knowledge (chemistry, physics, mathematics and biology) and deep in interdisciplinarities (biochemistry, physiology, biophysics, physical chemistry).
