About Anastasia
I currently teach 7th grade math. I have a passion for teaching math because I struggled understanding a lot of algebraic concepts when I was in middle and high school. It clicked in college and I fell in love with algebra and calculus. I think it helps that I come from a place of understanding when it comes to not understanding math.

I have a vast understanding of mathematics coupled with being a teacher gives me the understanding of the mechanics AND how to reach someone struggling to understand. I recognize that math is not always the easiest subject to learn but I try to make it fun and simple. My students have told me “I make math look easy, even if it’s not”
