"My beloved students,
I know you have questions in your minds. I can feel your worries. And I want to give you reassurance.

First, on my professionalism:
I do not just teach. Every lesson I prepare for you is thought through, studied, and worked hard for. I will not teach just anything. Every word, every example, every activity — all of it has a purpose.

Second, on my competence:
The Tagalog language is not just my job — it is my expertise. I have studied it thoroughly. I know its rules, its grammar, its history, and the culture embedded in it. I will not teach you anything wrong. If there is something I am unsure about, I will tell you — and together we will find the right answer.

Third, on my promise to you:
I am here for you. Not just as a teacher, but as a guide. If you struggle, I am here. If you make mistakes, I will not judge you — I will help you rise. If you have questions, my door and my ears are open.

Fourth, on my care:
I do not see you as names on a class record. You are people — with dreams, with fears, with stories. And I want to be part of your journey.

So do not worry.
I will not neglect you. I will not embarrass you. I will not waste your time.
The only thing I ask of you is your trust.
Give me a chance, and I will show you how beautiful this language is — and how much you matter to me.

About the lesson

Good day, everyone!
Before we begin, I just want to say — this is not just an ordinary class.

This is not just a leeson. This is your story.

In this class, you will learn to say the things that matter to you — your name, your family, your dreams — in a language that the heart can understand.
In every lesson, you will not just learn words. You will learn to talk to your grandmother, to your neighbor, to yourself.

And most of all — you will learn to love this language, and in loving it, you will also learn to love the phillipines.

So I encourage you: join me on this journey.

You will not regret it. I promise.
