About the lesson

My teaching approach is rooted in a communicative methodology. I believe in immersing students in practical scenarios to enhance their listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. By integrating multimedia resources and cultural elements into lessons, I aim to create a dynamic and engaging learning environment. My structured curriculum ensures a comprehensive understanding of the language, fostering both proficiency and cultural appreciation.
Understanding the importance of balancing intensity and retention, I propose sessions ranging from 30-60 minutes, depending on the needs and preferences of the students. This flexibility aims to accommodate various learning styles and levels of proficiency.
While I may not have formal teaching experience, I bring a solid foundation in Mandarin language proficiency. As a native speaker of Mandarin and studying for a bachelor's degree in education, my deep understanding of Chinese culture and diverse teaching approaches enhance the learning experience, allowing me to seamlessly incorporate cultural nuances into lessons.

In addition, I have informally assisted friends in their Mandarin language journeys and I also had a placement in a bilingual (English and Mandarin) primary school. These experiences have honed my ability to communicate effectively and tailor explanations to suit individual learning styles.

My lessons are designed to cater to children. However, I am comfortable working with learners at different age levels and various skill levels, from beginners to advanced.
