About Charles
I am a student at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) with more than two years of experience as a Teaching Assistant for various chemistry classes at the university. I have taken advanced chemistry and biology classes and have a thorough understanding of both subjects. Since I am still an undergraduate student I understand how current students are tested on these subjects and have learned how to teach students in a way that provides a thorough understanding and an ability to test well on the subject.

When I give lessons I like to cater to the needs of the student. I think it is very important in the first meeting to discuss what you already know and establish goals for the future. I think it is very effective to walk students through practice problems to give them experience solving the style of questions that they will see in the future.
