About Pavlo

I am a prospective Cambridge University student specialising in Mathematics. Having done my A-level exams in Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science and having obtained A*A*A*A, respectively, I can definitely tell that years of hard work are behind my back. I was qualified for various National and International Olympiads whilst at secondary school and at the sixth-form, so I am aware of what it takes to achieve high in the subjects you need. Alongside academic interests, I enjoy playing basketball (and am in my college's basketball team), doing rowing and calisthenics

About the lesson

My approach to tutoring Mathematics and Physics for GCSE and A-level students is centred around personalised learning and building strong foundations. I believe in nurturing a deep conceptual understanding rather than relying on memorisation. Through interactive discussions and problem-solving practice, I encourage active participation and analytical thinking. Visual aids and technology enhance the learning experience, while real-life applications make subjects relatable. I track progress, boost confidence, and ensure open communication for questions. My exam preparation strategy focuses on time management and targeted practice. Ultimately, I aim not just for exam success but to instil a lifelong love for learning and critical thinking in my students.
