About Amy
I first discovered my passion for teaching as TA for summer classes at my high school. When I got to CSU, I was excited to hear about their Learning Assistant Program. When I got accepted to be a Learning Assistant, I was able to deepen my knowledge about both teaching and learning and have loved my time in the program.

I adapt my lessons to each student’s needs. I am happy to give mini lectures when needed, and love to work through practice problems together. I utilize active learning activities and metacognitive strategies to ensure my students’ success. These strategies are meant to help learn how to learn, which encourages success in all courses!
