About Roisin
I’m originally from Donegal but living and teaching in Dublin. I work in a large primary school and have taught 1st Class for the past 2 years. I’ve always wanted to be a teacher and have completed a Masters in Education. My love of Irish is evident in my classroom as we encourage any and all use of the language to help us with the transfer of skills from English to Irish.

Due to the nature of my job (primary school teacher), I’ve very used to catering & differentiating lessons to individual needs. Whatever piece of Irish you are looking to learn, I’m confident that I can help you no matter what! I currently teach 1st class kids (6/7 years old) but have delivered Leaving Certificate grinds in the past too. I believe in learning Irish through games and learning phrases that can be transferred over to everyday life, for practice and reinforcement.
