About Joshua
I am a rising junior at Duke University, majoring in Biomedical Engineering. My expertise is evident at the high school level: I received A's in Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, Pre-Calculus, AP Statistics, and AP Calculus BC, I received a 36 on the Math section of the ACT. Additionally, at the college level I have experience at higher levels of mathematics than I teach through taking courses such as multivariable calculus, linear algebra and differential equations. I aim to spread the skills and techniques that have made me successful throughout my academic career and important lessons I have learned from high level teachers and professors teaching AP classes and college courses.

I will teach students at any skill level from middle school to high school. My expertise includes mathematical areas such as: Alegbra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, SAT/ACT Prep. My lessons follow these steps: learning through examples, practicing with assistance, practicing individually, and assessing and adjusting your performance. My teaching style is individualized to each student's desires and needs.
