About Antalia
I’m really passionate about getting people into STEM, particularly biology. I study biomed at uni and I promise you it’s fascinating when taken out of your workbooks !
I’d like to keep lessons quite fun and refreshing, I know that making revision a little more fun can do the world of difference to the attitude we have towards subjects.

If you’re about to go into year 11, your biology and maths might need a little bit of a refresh before you go back ! Year 11 can be very overwhelming and getting your head back into that space before you go back can be really helpful and means you might have a little less work to do for mocks and eventually your exams.
I can do in person lessons or online on any of the topics you feel need topping up. We will go through content and focus on bringing that knowledge into your exams with (and I know it’s a triggering phrase) exam technique practise ! I can also share some brilliant resources I discovered at A-level that would have been invaluable for my GCSEs.
Lessons can be as long as you’d like but typically I’d recommend 30minutes - an hour.

Antalia is such a friendly young woman, who loves to help others where she can. She’s very ambitious and focused on her studies but knows how to have fun as well.
I have had a few private lessons with Antalia as a family friend, she makes revision a lot easier and doesn’t rush through information.

I have a car and can travel around York/surrounding areas if the cost of travel is also covered, which is something we can talk about before the first lesson :)
I also don't offer the first lesson free, the option is just unchangeable. However, I do offer a free 'consultation' type video call or just a chat over text so that I know which areas you'd like to work on and we can get to know each other a little before the first lesson!
