About Jacob
My name is Jacob - Nice to meet you! I've just finished studying politics and the University of Exeter, and I want to carry my passion for the subject further than my degree; whilst my academic journey is coming to an end, it would be inspiring to help others begin their own. Tutoring, whilst not my first job, has been one of my favourites; I find it rewarding, and I find it fascinating.

My qualifications: 3 A*s at A-Level: History, Politics, and English Literature. 5 Grade 9s at GCSE, 3 Grade 8s, 2 Grade 7s. 1-year-long course in Politics at UiA, Kristiansand, Norway. 3-year study of Politics (BA) at the University of Exeter, England. My philosophy: My approach to teaching, particularly within information-dense subjects like history and politics, aims to simplify topic areas. It is my belief that teaching can be simplified - whilst retaining a high degree of quality. By cutting away at "Fluff", and exploring crucial academic concepts and frameworks, students can be more quickly trained to apply new knowledge quicker, and more effectively, than previously. Typical Lessons: Aimed towards GCSE and A-Level students. Lessons typically range between 45-60 minutes, depending on topic and requirements.
