Teaching Methodology:
I emphasize on ensuring that students fully understand fundamental concepts before progressing to more advanced mathematical topics. I strive to make sure that each concept "makes sense" within the broader context of mathematics.
Typical Lesson Plan:
Identification of Problem Areas: The student identifies specific areas of difficulty, such as differentiation.
Process Outline: I provide an outline of the process required to address the problem. For example, in the case of differentiation, this involves identifying the type of equation and applying the appropriate formula.
Example Demonstration: I demonstrate a simple example related to the identified problem area.
Student Practice: The student is then asked to complete a similar problem to reinforce their understanding.
Progression to Advanced Questions: Once the student is comfortable with the basic example, I introduce more advanced questions to further develop their skills.
These lessons are designed for high school students or those undertaking Cambridge A Levels or O Levels.
