About Scott
With me, your lessons will be fun, informative, but also relaxed. As a tutor, my role is not only to teach, but to make learning as easy and enjoyable as possible. As a Cambridge student, I know all the tips & tricks, as well as "learning hacks" to get you the best grades, as efficiently as possible. In reality, the difference between a "good" and "bad" student, is not how intelligent they are, but how wisely they use their working time. Remember - work smarter, not harder! Also, my job is to inspire confidence in my students by showing them the grades they are truly capable of. In my experience, this is both extremely rewarding for both the teacher and student. My teaching places a high emphasis on simplification (making hard topics easy to learn), understanding concepts, and creating strategies to remember facts and figures. Lesson lengths are 1 hour, or more at request. Previous experience in online tutoring, with Enhanced DBS certification. Lessons aimed for all skill levels, at GCSE and A-Level.

Perfect! First session with Scott has gone very well for my daughter to support her coming up to GCSEs this year and wanted help specifically with Chemistry. She hopes to study medicine and Scott is the perfect person to guide and encourage her. She was immediately at ease with him, talked enthusiastically about combustion after the session and is looking forward to the next session and ongoing support for the coming months.
