About Bill

I am currently a student at the university of Adelaide, maintaining a 6.7 GPA and obtaining a 97.65 ATAR upon leaving high school. I am studying Psychology with a minor in French, and left high school with an award in Italian studies. I have assisted many fellow students in their studies and enjoy doing so very much! I have also studied Chinese and Japanese at a university level, simply because I have a strong passion for languages and how they work!

Helping others in their studies, whether in primary school, high school or my fellow university students, has helped me develop as a person and better understand my own areas of study.

I have lots of experience tutoring Italian, however I am still relatively new to professionally tutoring the language. Because of this, my rates are low and affordable, so don't hesitate to contact me for help in your studies! :)

About the lesson

Teaching a foreign language is all about immersion, so expect plenty of conversations in Italian in our lessons! We'll go through grammar points and homework that may have confused you in class, so that you can speak, read and write more confidently in Italian. Our lessons will likely go for around 40 minutes to an hour. I help a wide range of students from primary school to SACE level. After having completed Italian SACE, I can understand how stressful the exam can be! At my school, I received the Academic Excellence award in Italian, and received high A's on both my written and oral exams. Although I have informally tutored students, I am quite new to formal, paid tutoring, so my first lesson is free and the rest of my lessons are at low rates!

Perfect! Bill is a wonderful tutor who is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable in both speaking and writing Italian. He is very patient and always open to answering any questions. Bill also provides fun and engaging exercises between each lesson, ensuring that his students are able to practice and feel prepared/confident about the lesson ahead. I would highly recommend Bill to those who have little to no experience with the Italian language (like myself) and to those who are more advanced. I am looking forward to our future lessons :)

My rates are currently set at $25 per hour, with an extra $5 for travel fees (though this of course won't be charged if the lesson is done over Zoom). However, our first lesson together will be entirely free! :)
