About Shane
As the son of two teachers, I’ve been exposed to methods of teaching from a very young age. I’ve completed math courses through multivariable calculus and intermediate collegiate statistics, and I have experience using programming languages including Java, Python, and SQL. A typically lesson with me contains multiple practice problems and caters mostly towards hands-on learners. I demonstrate how to use a given method, then coach the student through applying that method on their own. I also actively encourage questions to help the student further their understanding of the content they are learning.
