About Almer
I am a second year undergraduate student, specializing in Computing Science at the University of Alberta. I'm very interested in computer science and would want to do something which mixes the concepts learned in Computer Science with some other field like business. Furthermore, I enjoy maths and numbers in general. I believe that I have strong interpersonal skills and leadership skills which makes me want to be a tutor for fellow students in high school and university.
I know a variety of Coding languages like Python, C++ and C and have done a variety of Math courses during high school and University.
I enjoy teaching and sharing my knowledge so that everyone can understand the concepts taught in their high school or University. Looking forward to tutoring students and helping them achieve their goals!

I am a sophomore, specializing in Computing Science at the University of Alberta (UofA).
I have taken a great variety of Computing Science, Math and Stat courses in high school and my first year in the UofA. I scored pretty good in the courses listed above (GPA of 3.3 - 4), so I have a very good idea of the concepts thought in these courses. In Computer Science, I have learned Python, C++, C and MySQL during high school and my first two years in university. In Maths, I have learned Linear Algebra I and II and a bit of calculus as well and in statistics, I have learned introductory topics like probability, normal distributions (Z tables, confidence intervals, hypothesis testing etc.). I like to teach by making the students do problems at the start itself so they can understand how to use the concepts in questions immediately. You can look at me as a fellow student/friend so that it will be easy for all of you to clarify your doubts.
I am looking forward to tutor all of you in these courses so you can excel in it.
