About Shashwat

I am currently an undergraduate, and I am positioning myself to attain a master's and a PhD to eventually become a professor. Outside academia, I am a big chess enthusiast and an economics guy in general. Even if you have something interesting to talk about the real world or current affairs, I am sure we could have some fun conversations.

About the lesson

I find mathematics to be constantly mistaught. The idea cannot be memorising the methodology or learning techniques, but really about breaking it down to understand the underlying machinery. I help students get that "aha!" moment as they begin to get why to do a certain approach and how a certain approach works, not just what its steps are. Mathematics really is a beautiful tapestry and my job is to help unravel it for you.
