About Jake
Hi there!
I'm Jake and I hold interests in football and music, where I am enthusiastic about the guitar!
I've just recently finished my A levels where I got A*A*A in PE, Psychology and Biology and I'm now going to Loughborough university to study a BSc (Hons) in Sport and Exercise Science.
I'm really looking forward to helping other students with PE as I go along! I will able to tutor OCR A-Level PE as that's the course I've just done and would be most confident in teaching. Although I have no previous experience in tutoring, I'm keen to learn myself as I gain experience and learn what works well and does not work for students, along with the best ways of teaching and explaining simple tricks to do with exam technique along with ways of memorising the content!

My lessons are designed around what each student needs. If there are certain topics you're having difficulty with we'll go through them together. I'll make sure you really understand them before moving on to using the past-paper questions, mark schemes and examiner reports to put that knowledge into practice.
I look to utilise the specification for each topic to ensure that you are comfortable with all types of questions that you could be asked in exams. Overall, my aim is to help you understand what examiners are looking for and where you can get those extra marks by being able to 'picture' the mark schemes when doing exam questions.
I also aim for my lessons to be engaging and fun. There are no silly questions and if something isn't clear we'll keep working on it until it is.
I'm hoping to help you strengthen your skills and confidence when going into exams by using fun and engaging study techniques!
