About Milah
I am an undergraduate university student at Mcgill, who is majoring in biochemistry and has a strong foundation and understanding of math and core sciences. I love to help my peers with concepts and homework problems, which inspired me to start tutoring middle school and highschool students.
I also believe that being able to tutor peers is one of the best ways to solidify your understanding in a subject, which helps to succeed in your courses. My goal as a tutor is to help students build a level of understanding where they feel comfortable and confident enough in the material to teach their classmates.

My tutoring lessons are aimed at students from a middle school to highschool level who need support in mathematics and core sciences.
My aim is to engage students in the material, and to help build a strong foundation in the subject, that will help them excel at a higher level.
A typical lesson is structured by starting with the material that the student is least confident in. I believe that when you have a good understanding of a subject, you should be able to confidently teach it to your peers. My aim for the end of the lesson is for the student to build this level of understanding in a subject. I also go over practice questions, homework and exam preparation.
