About Matheus
I have studied with renowned professors such as Choong-Jin Chang and Richard Fleischman throughout high school and currently university. Through my experience with them, I have learned the process in which one can improve as a violist, to then become a great musician. With serious attention to the fundamentals and advancement of a solid string instrumentalist/violist, I acknowledge the work that is necessary to improve.

I will give weekly pieces and technical exercises for my students to practice every week. Focusing on mastering the basic fundamentals, to increasingly improve your technique with time. I will offer the appropriate pieces of music to learn with your technical level, and if there are any musical requests a student would also like to learn, I may be able to accommodate. Viola can be considered one of the most difficult instruments to truly master, but I am confident I can guide my students to reach the level that they truly desire.
