About Christopher
I am a Physics student, studying at the University of Bath. I have taught martial arts for several years, and in doing so realised I greatly enjoy teaching others. Tutoring, therefore, is the perfect opportunity for me to keep doing what I love (teaching) as well as help others realise the beauty and their potential in maths and physics in particular. It's easy to hate these subjects, but I believe that with the right teacher, they can be a joy to learn.

Having taught people for many years, albeit not in an academic format, I've learnt that the best way to learn is through practice. This is a philosophy I will carry through into tutoring - in a one-hour lesson, after initially assessing the student's strengths and weaknesses, I intend to split lesson time between some explanation and some practice, then potentially give the student some work to reinforce what was learnt in lesson. With A* grades at A Level in all the subjects I tutor, as well as in Further Mathematics, I am able to comfortably teach up to GCSE level, and potentially up to A Level in some cases.
