I’m a passionate and dedicated science student currently pursuing my BSc Special Degree at the College of Chemical Sciences in Sri Lanka. Teaching has always been something I enjoy deeply, especially when I see students grow more confident and perform better in subjects like Chemistry, Biology, and Physics. I offer tutoring in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics for students up to high school level, following both Edexcel and Cambridge syllabus. I conduct my lessons online via Zoom, Google Classroom, or Microsoft Teams. My teaching method focuses on building a strong understanding of core concepts through clear explanations, interactive discussions, and visual aids when needed. I ensure students are actively engaged and encourage them to ask questions. A typical lesson includes a short review of previous material, introduction of new concepts with real-life applications, guided practice, and a summary to reinforce learning. I aim to complete the syllabus at least three months before the exam, so I can focus on past paper practice and exam techniques. What sets me apart is my organized approach, my ability to simplify difficult topics, and my genuine enthusiasm for science education. My lessons are ideal for middle and high school students preparing for O Levels or IGCSE exams.
