About Jordan
I have tutored many students throughout high school as a member of National Honor Society. We were required at least 30 hours to graduate. I am also the oldest of three and am constantly helping my siblings with any work they may be struggling with.

I use a patient, engaging, and student-centered approach to help students feel confident in math and science. I break difficult concepts into simple, manageable steps and explain them in different ways until the material makes sense. I use practice problems, real-world examples, visual explanations, and guided problem-solving to make lessons interactive and easy to understand. I also adjust my teaching style and pace based on each student's individual needs.
Each lesson begins with a quick review of previous material and an opportunity to identify any areas the student needs help with. We then focus on the main topic or skill, working through examples together before moving into guided and independent practice. I encourage students to explain their thinking so I can identify where they may be struggling. We end each lesson by reviewing the key concepts and making sure the student feels prepared to continue working independently.
I believe that students learn best when they feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I am patient and encouraging, and I focus on helping students understand why something works rather than simply memorizing an answer. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades, but also to build their confidence, problem-solving skills, and ability to approach challenging subjects independently.
I tutor elementary, middle school, and high school students in math and science. Lessons can be tailored to each student's grade level, class, and individual needs. I can provide support with homework, classwork, test and exam preparation, difficult concepts, study skills, and general academic improvement. Whether a student needs help catching up, wants to strengthen their understanding, or is looking to challenge themselves, I adapt each lesson to their goals and learning style
